Woodside school was opened in 1878. Set in our own playing fields, backing on to the Forest of Dean with views towards Wales. 5 miles South of Ross on Wye, Woodside is a primary school for 5 to 11 year olds. We currently have 101 pupils.

Sports day was a real success with everyone enjoying the events in the morning. Unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to hold the track events on the field. Due to the busy calendar these will not take place this year. As a result, the Green team were declared winners for the first time EVER!! Well done to everyone who took part and thank you to everyone that came and suppported the new style event!
